So, we’re running a Kickstarter in 2016…why?
We are on a mission to stop horrible internships.
We’ve all been there before…nervous, ill-prepared and your new boss has just thrown you to the wolves without any sort of training.
Or maybe you’ve been on the other side of the table…not sure if you’ve hired the right person, are they going to be an asset or slow you down? You’re moving ninety miles an hour and what in the world are you going to train them on?
This is a recipe for disaster and it’s happening in offices all over the world right now.
We want to put a stop to that.
So that’s why we built The Apprentice Program…
We want to revolutionize the way people train their teams thru our crowd-sourced online network.
Imagine, you could tap into a global network of experienced professionals who can help you train your team by simply uploading and sharing their knowledge with videos.
We launched The Apprentice Program earlier this year and wedding planners all across the US are currently using it to train their interns. And now, it’s time to take it to the next level.
We are running a Kickstarter in order to build out the online training portal.
We want it to be fully immersive, interactive and elegantly SIMPLE, sparking better training moments between the mentor and their interns both online and off. The initial prototypes have been designed. We’re ready to take it to the next level.
Let’s build something different together.
Therefore, I need your help.
We will be reaching out to you (yes, YOU!) in the coming weeks for feedback and advice on the various elements of our Kickstarter campaign, including:
- the campaign video – explaining what it is, why we are building it
- the reward levels – what backers get when they contribute to the project
- the product itself – what features do you want to see? what would make your life easier as a mentor/event planner?
- …and so much more
We rely on you guys, our trusted network of event professionals in the International Special Events Society (ISES) and the Student Event Planners Association (SEPA) to tell us what you want the most and we aim to raise the money needed to build it.
Interns, you deserve better. Mentors, you deserve better!
